AirPort Extreme 802.11n (1st Generation)

Compared with the AirPort Extreme Base Station, this model moved to draft 802.11n on 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, and Apple claimed up to five times the speed and twice the range. It has a new flat square case, 6.5 inches across, with three Ethernet ports for the local network and one for the internet connection. Its USB port can share a hard disk as well as a printer. It dropped the modem and the external antenna port.
