AirPort Extreme 802.11n (5th Generation)

AirPort Extreme 802.11n (5th Generation)

Compared with the AirPort Extreme 802.11n (4th Generation), this model replaced the Marvell wireless chips with a Broadcom BCM4331, which gave better throughput and range in reviews. FCC test data shows higher output power in every mode except 802.11b. The flat case, simultaneous dual-band 802.11n, Gigabit Ethernet ports and USB port did not change.
