Apple TV (1st Generation)

Apple TV (1st Generation)

Apple's first set-top box connected a widescreen TV to the iTunes library on a Mac or PC. It played movies, TV shows, music and photos synced from iTunes, and later rented films straight from the iTunes Store. Unlike every Apple TV after it, it had a hard drive (40 GB, later 160 GB) and ran a version of Mac OS X on an Intel processor.
