Compared with the iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2011), this education-only model has the thin Late 2012 case with no optical drive. It has a 3.3 GHz dual-core Core i3, Intel HD Graphics 4000, 4 GB of memory and a 500 GB hard drive. It added USB 3.0 and two Thunderbolt ports, and it dropped FireWire 800.
