Compared with the education-only iMac (21.5-inch, Early 2013), this lower-cost model was sold to everyone for $1,099. It has a 1.4 GHz dual-core Core i5, a low-power chip from the MacBook Air, with Intel HD Graphics 5000. Its 8 GB of memory is soldered to the logic board. The thin case, display and ports did not change.
