Compared with the iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, this model is a third thinner, with the dual-core Apple A5 chip, front and rear cameras and a gyroscope. This page covers model A1397, the CDMA model sold by Verizon in the United States. It has no SIM tray, which tells it apart from the GSM model, A1396. Like the GSM model, it has a black antenna strip on the top edge.
