iPad (2nd Generation, GSM)

Compared with the iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, this model is a third thinner, with the dual-core Apple A5 chip, front and rear cameras and a gyroscope. This page covers model A1396, the GSM 3G model sold by AT&T and in most countries. It has a micro-SIM tray on the left side, near the top, and a black plastic antenna strip on the top edge. The CDMA model, A1397, has no SIM tray.
