iPad (4th Generation, LTE/GSM)

Compared with the iPad (3rd Generation, LTE/GSM), this model replaced the 30-pin dock connector with Lightning and moved to the faster Apple A6X chip. The front camera became a 720p FaceTime HD camera, and LTE works on more networks. This page covers model A1459, the AT&T and GSM model, with a micro-SIM tray on the left side, near the top. Model A1460 adds CDMA for Verizon and Sprint.
