iPad mini (2nd Generation, Wi-Fi/Cellular)

Compared with the iPad mini (1st Generation, LTE/CDMA), this model added a 2048×1536 Retina display and moved to the 64-bit Apple A7 chip, in a slightly thicker body. This page covers model A1490, the one cellular model sold in most countries, which works on LTE, GSM and CDMA networks. It takes a nano-SIM card. Model A1491 added TD-LTE for China in 2014.
