iPad mini (3rd Generation, Wi-Fi/Cellular, China)

This is the cellular iPad mini 3 made for mainland China, model A1601, which went on sale there in December 2014. It adds the TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA networks that China Mobile uses, and its other cellular bands differ from those of the iPad mini 3 cellular model (A1600). Its Touch ID, 7.9-inch Retina display and Apple A7 chip are the same as on A1600. The model number on the back is the way to tell it apart.
