iPod (Scroll Wheel)

Apple's first music player held about 1,000 songs on a 5 GB hard drive in a pocket-size case. A mechanical scroll wheel moved through long song lists, and one FireWire cable synced it with iTunes and charged it. It worked only with Macs and played for up to 10 hours. A 10 GB model followed in March 2002.
