Compared with the Mac mini (M2 Pro, 2023), this model has the new 5-inch-square case, with two USB-C ports and a headphone jack on the front. The M4 Pro chip has a 12-core or 14-core CPU and up to 64 GB of memory at launch. The four Thunderbolt 4 ports on the back became three Thunderbolt 5 ports, and the USB-A ports are gone.
