Compared with the Mac mini (M4, 2024), this model has the M6 chip with a 12-core CPU and 12-core GPU, two more cores of each. Networking moved to Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6 and 2.5Gb Ethernet, with 10Gb Ethernet as an option. The storage is soldered to the logic board. The starting price rose to $899.
