Compared with the MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2012), this model has Haswell processors that use much less power, which raised battery life to up to 12 hours. It added 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Intel HD Graphics 5000, faster PCIe flash storage and a second microphone. The case, 13.3-inch screen and ports did not change.
