Macintosh LC 575

Compared with the Macintosh LC 520, this model replaced the 25 MHz 68030 with a 33 MHz 68LC040, a 68040 without the floating-point unit. It added a communications slot for networking or modem cards and a tray-loading CD-ROM drive. It came with 5 MB of RAM and a 160 MB hard disk in the same 14-inch all-in-one case. Consumer versions were sold as the Performa 575, 577 and 578.
