Macintosh Plus

Compared with the Macintosh 512K, this model added a SCSI port, the first on a Macintosh, for external hard disks and other devices. It came with 1 MB of RAM, expandable to 4 MB, and an 800 KB floppy drive that doubled disk capacity. Its 128 KB ROM added the HFS file system, and its keyboard gained a numeric keypad and arrow keys. In January 1987 the case changed from beige to platinum gray.
