Macintosh Quadra 840AV

Macintosh Quadra 840AV

Compared with the Macintosh Quadra 800, this model uses the same mini-tower case with a 40 MHz 68040, the only Mac with that chip at that speed. It adds a 66.7 MHz AT&T 3210 digital signal processor, S-Video and composite video in and out, and 16-bit stereo sound. It came with PlainTalk speech recognition and supports a GeoPort adapter. It drops the 800's Processor Direct Slot and moves the power button to the front.
