Macintosh SE/30

Macintosh SE/30

Compared with the Macintosh SE, this model replaced the 8 MHz 68000 with a 16 MHz 68030 and added a 68882 floating-point unit. Its expansion slot became a 32-bit Processor Direct Slot, which does not take SE cards. It has eight SIMM slots instead of four, 64 KB of dedicated video memory and a 1.44 MB SuperDrive as standard. The case and 9-inch black-and-white screen look almost the same as the SE.
