Power Macintosh 9500/180MP

Power Macintosh 9500/180MP

Apple's first Mac with two processors carries two 180 MHz PowerPC 604e chips on one processor card. Compared with the Power Macintosh 9500/150, it also moved to the 604e, which has twice the L1 cache. Only software written for multiprocessing could use the second chip. The tower case and the six PCI slots did not change.
