Description

  • This cable is used for iMacs that were configured with a 2.5" SATA SSD and connects to the typically unused SATA connector on the logic board, located directly above the ODD SATA connector.
  • You can also use this cable to add a 2.5" SATA hard drive or SSD to an iMac that only has a standalone 3.5" hard drive.
  • As expected, this cable and the SATA connector reserved for the SSD support 6.0Gb/s SATA 3 speed.
