Description

  • Replacement logic board with onboard processor, memory, and graphics.
  • All of these components are soldered to the logic board, so if you want to upgrade or replace any of them you'll need a whole new logic board
  • Each board also includes a paired Touch ID power button.
  • Each Touch ID power button is programmed to function with the original logic board and cannot be reprogrammed, so you must replace the Touch ID button when replacing the logic board.
  • These logic boards were originally included in the Mid 2017 release of the MacBook Pro 13" (A1706), but are also compatible with the Late 2016 release. The 2016 only supports up to macOS Monterey (12.x.x), while the 2017 officially supports up to Ventura (13.x.x).
