Compared with the iMac (27-inch, Mid 2011), this model has a new case only 5 mm thin at the edge, made by laminating the display to the glass. Apple removed the optical drive and FireWire 800. It has Ivy Bridge Core i5 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M or GTX 675MX graphics, with a Core i7 and a GTX 680MX as build-to-order options.
