Some products, like batteries, are designed to be consumed during use. Product pages (and common sense) will tell you which items fall under this category. Example: If your replacement battery fails entirely within the warranty period, we’ll replace it. If its charging capacity decreases throughout the warranty period (as it most likely will with use), we won’t.

Domestic Shipping

In most cases, we will cross-ship warranty replacements for defective parts and tools. This simply means that we will send you a replacement item, and we expect to receive the defective item back. In some cases, we may require you to ship the failed item back to us before we send your replacement. See below for how we handle return shipping costs. To cross-ship, we must have a valid credit card number on file to cover any incidentals. If we do not receive the defective product back after 30 days from the date you receive the replacement, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for the retail price of the non-returned product. We’ll match your expedited shipping method within 7 days of your receipt of purchase. Afterward, we reserve the right to choose the shipping method we use to send the replacement item. If you are in the United States, we will send a prepaid shipping label to you along with the replacement product so you can send the defective product back to us.

International Shipping

Outside the United States, unless otherwise stated, to claim a warranty replacement you will need to ship the defective part back to us using a non-expedited shipping method that is able to be tracked, and does not exceed the cost of $25 USD. Include a receipt for the shipping charges in the package or in an email to support@beetstech.com and we’ll reimburse you for the shipping charges once we receive and process the return.

Cosmetic Condition

We guarantee that the cosmetic appearance of our externally visible products will match our description (listed under the “Cosmetic Condition” section of the product page). However, cosmetic descriptions are subjective, and we realize our interpretation may differ from your own. If you’re unhappy with the cosmetic condition, you must contact us with 7 days of delivery for a replacement or return. We do not guarantee the cosmetic condition of any internal parts, or any internally facing sections of external parts (such as the inside of a top case).

User Error

We can’t cover user error. If you break a part during installation, we can’t replace it. If you accidentally damage the part after installation, we cannot replace it. Beetstech is not responsible for any damage to your device due to improper installation or accidental damage. This includes data loss. Example: If your replacement logic board stops working a year after you installed it, we’ll send a replacement. If you drop your laptop and the logic board breaks, we won’t replace it.

Warranty Length

Our “One Year Warranty” covers the item for one ordinary calendar year (365 days) from the date you receive the item. Our “Lifetime Warranty” lasts for as long as Beetstech exists, you exist, and you originally purchased the item. In the event that a warranty replacement is sent, the original warranty will continue to be valid until the warranty expires or for an additional 30 days from the date of receipt, whichever provides longer coverage for you. Example: If your replacement battery stops working 5 months before your one year warranty expires, we will replace your battery and you’ll have 5 months left on your warranty. Example: If your replacement battery stops working 1 week before your one year warranty expires, we will replace your battery and you’ll have the 1 week remaining in your warranty plus an additional 3 weeks.

Proof of Purchase

We reserve the right to require proof of purchase and proof that a product is an original Beetstech product before providing support services.


Before making a claim for a defective part, please test it thoroughly (ensuring all the cables are plugged in, etc.). If a fully-functional item is returned, it is subject to a restocking fee of 15% or $5, whichever is greater. Beetstech will replace any defective or malfunctioning part at no charge; if the part is no longer available, we will provide a store credit.
