Hard Drive Flex Cable, Lower

Price range: $14.35 through $17.80

Description

  • This SATA cable is used to connect a hard drive or SSD in the lower drive bay.
  • The lower drive bay is the default position if the Mac mini was configured with only a single storage drive.
  • Some 2012 releases shipped with the hard drive in the upper bay instead of the lower bay. To find this information, open Applications->Utilities->System Information and click SATA/SATA Express on the left. Under "Bay Name" it will list either "Lower" or "Upper."
