Description

The ISL62882C regulates GPU VCore voltage.
Replacing this chip can resolve a very common video issue that affects MacBook Pro laptops with 15-inch Retina displays released Mid 2012 - Early 2013.
The low quality solder used to secure this IC eventually results in cracked solder joints and insufficient voltage to the graphics processor. If your display goes black but the LED backlight is still on, this may be your fix.
Identified in board view files and schematics as U8900 and APN 353S3679.
Compatible with the MacBook Pro 15" Late 2013-Mid 2015 with discrete graphics (DG) option and identified as U9300.
