Device buyback terms

The terms you agree to when you send or bring us a device to sell.

When you sign our buyback authorization and waiver of liability, or send or bring us a computer for a buyback assessment, you agree to these terms. To get an offer, start on Sell Your Device.

The assessment

  • You allow Beetstech to do what is needed to assess the device’s value.
  • Our technicians decide the device’s condition, including any problem it already had.
  • We do only the work you agree to, and we ask you before any more.
  • We can refuse to assess or buy any device, for any reason.

Your data

  • Back up your data before you send us the device. We are not responsible for data lost while we assess it.
  • We can back up your data for the stated price, but we cannot promise the backup. Files that could not be read before can stay unreadable after.
  • Remove any personal or private files that you do not want our staff to be able to see.

Our liability

  • Any work on a device can lose data or stop the device working. We are responsible for damage only when it is caused by our own negligence, and never for more than the price of the device.
  • We are not responsible for lost profit, or for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damage during or after the assessment.

Other terms

  • A device counts as abandoned 120 days after our last contact with you. We can then take ownership of it or dispose of it.
  • All sales are final.
  • We may email you repair offers. You can opt out at any time.
