Description

  • This cable is the same cable used for the ambient temperature sensor (attached to the hard drive cable), and the optical drive (only found in devices with a single hard drive).
  • There are three temp sensors in the 2010 Mac mini: upper hard drive sensor, ambient temp sensor (attached to hard drive cable), and either an optical drive sensor, or a lower (secondary) hard drive sensor.
  • This cable is identical to the hard drive thermal sensor, except it's a bit shorter (6.8cm vs 8.0cm).
